Hip Hop Honeys

Wednesday, September 20th, 2006

BattleThey say that hip hop is the cause of our “Down Fall” as a people. I do not agree.
They say videos make us degrade our black women. I do not agree. All i got to say is were are the Parents. Hip Hop is not responsible for the upbringing of our children. Hip Hop is an influence, yes i would have to say but it is the job of Parents to to teach these yougins right from wrong (broken record). On that Note…. keep the eye candy cause sex sell and that is the American way..Get on your Grind

Can’t We All Just Get Along

Saturday, September 16th, 2006

magic2006_game_marclaidler.gif“to every one curious about the game and ras beef well its on.last night ras and j211 were at club element at hollywood.game invited ras to his table, ras clearly wanted no part of that.so game felt disrespected, later that night game once again so anxious to have ras be his friend approached ras and j211,asked ras if he could get him a drink and holler at him for a second, ras told game to get out of his face cause he did not want any associations with game, ras then turned his back on game, thats when the shit started.game like a coward sucker punched ras with a bottle in the face, all along j211 was going at it with a black wall street affiliate.game tried to knock ras out but could not.after the incident the clubs security got in between and broke the altercation up.escorted ras out along with j211 through the back way when game and his entourage fled the scene but as they did ras saw game driving by and as they both looked at one another, ras shouted thank u cause now u officially gave me and re up a reason to smash on you and the wack wall street.ras suffered minor injuries just a slight bruise in his eye area.no longer than 10 minutes after game drove off like a coward unknown re up members arrived to the scene.when asked about the whole thing ras laughed and said he knew game was a ‘’pussy'’ but not to that extent i mean even when he had no guts to do it in front of my face he still could not succeed in bringing me down but then again what can u expect from a one time male stripper who got his heart broken on change of heart and now is running around thinking hes a gangster just cause he got tatoos, pussy is all that is,lets not forget this closet fag got robbed and shot with his own gun, enough said! “

JD makes sure Daz is still So So Gangsta…

ImageIgloo.com
DPG veteran Daz Dillinger is back with his debut So So Def album titled So So Gangsta. While Kurupt was always hailed as the lyrical half of Tha Dogg Pound, Daz’s production skills were undeniable and it shines on this album. The album starts with “Thang On My Hip”. “We can do whatever/nigga I been around/i aint been up to shit/i rose from the underground” Daz raps over a simple but bangin beat. Though this album is not overloaded with that G Funk sound that old DPG fans know Daz for, “Rat-A-Tat-Tat” surely has enough of a funky bassline to keep heads nodding. “Strizzap” featuring another west coast veteran Ice Cube has that grimey feel to it, reminiscent of Daz’s Death Row solo album Retaliation…While many thought Jermaine Dupree would not sound right with Daz’s gangsta sound, the songs “Weekend” and “The One” featuring Jagged Edge prove them wrong. JD’s production skills shine alongside Daz on these as well as “Badder Than A Mutha”. Kurupt also shows up on “Money On My Mind” which has an addicting beat and has Kurupt and Daz Dillinger going back to back like old times. The albums flaws are minimal and with only 12 tracks, there is little room for error. This is a bangin album from a westcoast veteran. 4.5 out of 5. Go cop it, it’s worth the money.

Would Jay-z be as BIG if Biggie was here Would 50 cent be around if PAC was here???????????

First off we miss you Biggie and Pac. But what if they where here would the hiphop game be what it is? I often wonder if 2pac was here would he beef with 50. Would Jay and big have ever made the Commision album or would it be the way it is today Hova on top.

the game is sad right now, with everybody talking about bling and chicks’s you gotta wonder what’s next for hiphop. ATL got the game on smash 3 years in a row, where is New York……………..Where is Cali………………………..???????????? we need talent in the game because as a fan and a crtic I miss that fire. I miss willing to go broke to buy the new Onyx cd. I miss Hip Hop Period. What are we teaching the youth to disrespect th OG.

It’s Ok when truth be told, it’s not ok. I am sad for the future of HIP HOP and truly miss BIGGIE and PAC because the game will never be the same.

Diddy Vs Fifty

Wednesday, September 6th, 2006

What is 50 cent up to now???? Trying to promote Loyd Banks Album Or is he Just really Crazy? By now I hope you guys have heard the response from Diddy, where he says over and over i ‘m richer bit#h. All this over Mase a rapper turned preacher turned sinner. Hey 50 man Diddy is not a Thug he is a business man, so what are you out to prove. You basically have disrespected everyone in hip- hop by even bringing Biggie’s Death into the issue. Why don’t you go pick on somebody like DMX and make things fun because you are becoming a gimmick not a thug a gimmick…….I don’t know…. these are just my thoughts. Why don’t you guys hit me and tell me how you feel about it. I’ll end this with saying give Diddy the Game and you take Mase and then let’s see Who sell’s more……….
